Brothers of Rock is a romance series following the band, Chasing Cross. There are five members in the band and each member gets their own book. Right now, the series is slated for the five books definitely but if the response keeps up, I have a few ideas on how to actually expand the series and make it longer.
I wanted to capture the essence of the band but also the individuality of each member. How they act off stage. How they deal with life. And how they deal with love. It’s been so much fun writing the series so far and with the second book just a couple weeks away, I’m growing more and more excited.
So, now, how about we meet the band?
In the first book of the series, there’s Johnnie, lead singer, front man, and guitar player. Next comes Davey. He’s one of the main guitarists in the band. Johnnie’s younger brother is Danny and he also plays guitar for Chasing Cross. Chris is the bassist.
And finally, you can’t have a rock band without a drummer. That’s where Rick comes into the story.
The fun part about this series is that as I write it, the focus may shift from band member to band member but the reader still experiences the band together. The same characters flow in and out of the books and it creates the real ‘family’ feel… which is why I named the series Brothers of Rock.
