Timothy Mbugua quit his job sometimes last year to start his own business. It took him months to open his barbershop but now he’s open for business.Speaking during an interview with Nation in November 2018, Timothy said that he decided to quit employment after realizing he was putting great effort and work on someone else’s brand.“I spent between 12-15 hours a day working, I figured that working on my own brand for that long made more sense than putting in all that effort to build someone else’s brand. I decided to step out of my field, design and advertising, and try something new, different and fresh,” said Timothy.
