Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s former private secretary, Sugeeshwara Bandara, has been remanded until July 1.
He was remanded under an order issued by the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
According to reports, Bandara has been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities involving government salaries. He is accused of having received salaries from two separate government institutions simultaneously. (NewsWire)
