GoDaddy Valuations Changed – They Took $3k off One of My Names

GoDaddy domain name valuations

I was looking at GoDaddy valuations and I had a name in there of mine. I then was doing some stuff for a few hours and came back and hit refresh for whatever reason.

The value of the name dropped by like $900, I was like that’s weird not that automated appraisals mean much.

In a poll I did on Namepros, 0 was the majority of votes given when asked their importance on a scale of 0 to 10.

So I started checking other names, one was a one word .com I was looking at the night before. It was valued at $11,900 and now it’s $10,600.

NH.tv a name of mine was valued at $11,833 and it’s now at $8,935.

Anchorman.net I just sold on Namepros when I posted the auction and quoted the valuation, it was $1,896. Now it’s $1,180.

I can say a couple 4L.coms I own did go up by $1,000, so not sure what all the logic behind everything is, but if you quote your valuations in sales threads, or outbound emails. They have changed.
