If it's true that God is in the detail, then, in design terms at least, a trip through the new Tottenham Court Road station is an act of devotion.
Have a look at the white panels on the escalator leading from the platforms to the main concourse. They are bolted to the wall with these fixings…
God Is In The Detail In @TfL London Underground Design … the heads of which are in the shape of a London Underground roundel. 
Coincidence? Are they standard issue screws? Or is someone at London Underground going the extra mile and thrilling Tube Nerds like me?
