Gabby Douglas Says #MeToo Team Doctor Sexually Abused Her Too
“I was abused too” Gabby Douglas said on Tuesday, revealing that she was also abused by Olympic team doctor, Larry Nassar.

This news comes after she tweeted suggesting that women hold a responsibility to dress ‘modestly’ and act ‘classy,’ following allegations by  former teammate, Aly Raisman, that she was sexually assaulted by Nassar.

Gabby has since apologized for the tweet.

Now Gabby is coming forward, alleging that Nassar abused her too.

Please Hear My Heart

‘I didn’t publicly share my experiences as well as many other things because for years we were conditioned to stay silent and honestly, some things were extremely painful,’ she wrote in the social media post.

‘It would be like saying that because of the leotards we wore, it was our fault that we were abused by Larry Nassar.’

‘I didn’t view my comments as victim shaming because I know that no matter what you wear, it NEVER gives anyone the right to harass or abuse you.

‘I wholeheartedly support my teammates for coming forward with what happened to them,’ Douglas added.

Larry Nassar pleaded guilty on Wednesday in court to criminal sexual conduct.

In a brief statement, Dr. Nassar said he made the plea “to move the community forward and stop the hurting.”

“I pray every day for forgiveness,” he said.

During the hearing, Aly Raisman tweeted that Nassar was a monster.

Court referring to Larry as DOCTOR Nassar. I AM DISGUSTED. I am very disappointed. He does NOT deserve that. Larry is digusting. Larry is a MONSTER not a doctor.
