I set out Saturday morning wearing a green kurta as it was the theme in the terrible Mumbai heat and I had to change 2 trains to reach there. Phew!! Once you are there your mood changes instantly ☺ After Registration I caught up with some of my blogger friends there got fresh and then chose to sit with my friends who I had met a year and a half ago - Mayuri and Anu Goel.Even though we stay nearby we are not able to connect with friends and hence Indiblogger events like this are a perfect opportunity to connect with people from my own blogger community.

When we were all settled down the event began only to let our hair loose as the Indiband ( Blunder in the Code) got us foot tapping and head banging to cult classic Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd and my favorite Sing for the Moment by Eminem. I am not a person who goes for live/rock concerts but I really had a great time. Music can change your mood instantly and perk you for the rest of the day and that is what it did to me.

My 30 seconds of fame ☺
Once we settled down into our seats we had a fresh round of introduction or as put 30 seconds of fame. There were many people who spoke about themselves and their blog. Little I knew I would get an opportunity as well to speak about my blog.I am not a person who will boast a lot but I am proud of my blog and what I achieved in the last 3 years. I was a shy person and do not like being the center of attraction but I have come a long way since then and a happy bee about it.

The main purpose why we were there was Unveiling of the Dabur Vatika Jasmine Hair Oil which is a one stop solution to #FrizzFreeHair. Now not only us bloggers but we had management students from NMIMS who were there to witness how a product launch is done and how bloggers play a role in it as well, Interesting! The head of Dabur India marketing did take us through some insights into hair styles over the years and also Dabur as a brand how it all started and where are they know. Hair means differently to all. Rightly put like a woman's mood swings our hair is in a different mood everyday. Ever heard people saying I have a good or bad hair day?? Dabur India promised us #FrizzFreeHair with the use of this Jasmine hair oil every single day. Frizzy hair is one of the many hair woes I have. I have not tried this product but will do so soon as a part of a review on my blog. Stay tuned for the same.
Some of the ladies did share their tips on how they use home remedies to keep their hair frizz free. I would try the youghurt (dahi) tip for my hair. Although I did not get a chance to share my tip as I am not much of a DIY person but as a beauty blogger I would say oiling the hair once or twice a week is a must - better if the oil is lukewarm. Also conditioning your hair each time you shampoo is an absolute necessity as shampoo only cleanses the scalp but a conditioner softens the hair.

We also had some fun playing the rock paper scissor game where the looser will get their hair messed up by the one who wins. I was out in the second round but we had fun watching the winner till the end.

Finally it all concluded and we were off with a goodie bag and let me tell you Indiblogger goodie bags are the best ;) We all got the Jasmine hair oil, their Coconut Oil and the Philips Hair straightner and guess what it was Pink ♥♥
