The 80’s sound of music is back and better than ever with The Bad Dreamers California Winter.
California Winter has a slow build up but when you hear that first note you can’t help but get transported back to the 80’s. You can’t for sure place the that you know all too well…that is until you hear that first note. That is when you know this song is going to bring back the memories of your favorite 80’s song. When the song reaches the chorus the vocals are so on point you can’t help but get chills down your whole body.
With reboots coming back to the TV screens it makes sense that music would follow suit and have the sound go back to a more classic sound we are all used to. The Bad Dreamers knew just how to capture that 80’s sound with California Winter and not make it sound cheesy or old. They freshen up the sound just enough to make it their own. But they were still able to keep that sound to make it so when I listen to the song I think of the classic show Miami Vice.
I will have to say California Winter is on our Fresh Finds Friday list because once you listen to the song once you will want to listen to it over and over again. We also won’t have to wait long to hear more music from The Bad Dreamers as they will be releasing their debut LP called Songs About People Including Myself will be out on October 25th.
