Favorite Watering Holes, and Food in Lake Placid, NY.

Since renovating a 100 year old house in the town of Lake Placid, we have come to really know this area!
There is something so comfortable and warm about LP! Experience instant stress decompression as you enter Keene off of 86, filled with mountains and birch trees, smells of pine filling the air... and knowledge of the fact that we're almost there!  Once in town, almost everything is within walking distance... but there are a couple of places worth getting in the car for!!  They include "The Lake Placid Lodge" and "The Whiteface Lodge".  Here's a glimpse of both places and their beautiful and unique andirondack decor.   And if you every make it up this way... put them down as a must visit!!
