Back in 2011, Caroline Found died from a mo-ped accident, not only was she the star player, she never met a stranger, and was described as “the pulse of the team.”

After Found’s passing, the team had a slow and difficult start, due to them and the community consumed with the grief.  But their resilience and passion kicked in with the help of their coach and community, and they repeated as state-champions without their best player.

Many of us can relate to the West High School volleyball team story.  I know I can.

My things wasn’t volleyball, but it was my blog.  I had started blogging again as a hobby when my father (who was the pulse of our family) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  In the beginning everything was fine, I would blog, and spend time with him on the phone or watching tv together. We would sit and talk, I would share my dreams, and he would always encourage me to follow them!  When I would meet different people, or attend major events he would be so proud.  He would tell anyone who would listen.  He was my biggest fan and I always wanted to make him proud.  When he passed away, I was so consumed with grief that I had lost focus of my passion for blogging, and I literally shut down from the world. About a year ago, I watched my mother fight through her grief with the help from God, and follow her passion to do mission work.  I remember saying to God if He could give my mother the strength to fight through, that I knew He could do it for me too.  In that moment I started doing the work to heal, and in the process it reignited my passion to blog, and share how there are some amazing people in this world, doing amazing things for God in the entertainment industry.

Okay, now that I’m done crying.. lol.. Like I said ‘The Miracle Season’ is a story we all can relate to, and I encourage you to take your family to the theater when it comes out on April 6th
