Hello lovelies,
Elizabeth Arden is a brand that certainly doesn’t get a lot of love on beauty blogs. Prior to this purchase I didn’t try anything from the brand and I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I was not very familiar with the brand. However lookfantastic had a gwp promo and I thought this might be a good time to try some of the products. I have bought and eyeshadow, eyeliner and a lip crayon from Summer 2014 collection and today I’ll show you the eyeliner.
Midnight Sail is a dual-ended eye liner (duh!) - a navy black on one side and shimmery rose gold beige on the other which retails for GBP17. Both eyeliners are very creamy and pigmented. The color payoff on the lid is great, as is the wear time – over 10 hours without fading. However, it doesn’t wear well on the waterline. The navy side barely leaves a trace of color – it actually makes my waterline looks sickly purple. The rose gold side leaves a stronger pigmentation, even though it is not as intense as on the skin. Still, it doesn’t wear well on the waterline – a maximum of an hour.
xoxo Tamara
