Eden Body Works Coconut Shea Curl Defining Creme for Kinky, Curly, Afro-Textured Hair
Eden Body Works is a brand that I've been using for a while now, and it has grown to be one of my most trusted, go-to brands when it comes to hair products. Naturally kinky, curly and Afro-textured hair has a very unique structure that requires more moisture than other types of hair textures. Although my hair is naturally fine, it still requires an adequate amount of moisture in order to remain healthy.

Eden Body Works all natural Coconut Shea Curl Defining Creme is one of my favorite styling products because it provides a great amount of hold and definition without leaving my hair feeling dry, crunchy or stiff. I never feel like it weighs my hair down so it works great for naturals who may have lower density hair. Unlike some styling products that I've used in the past, the curling creme blends very well when layered with other products. I've used the curling creme several time over my favorite leave-in conditioner by As I Am.
I tend to stick to the same products when I find that it works well for my natural tresses. I actually stumbled on the Eden Body Works Curl Defining Crème in Walmart one day while looking for a completely different product that was sold out. I initially liked the fragrance of the creme and the fact that it was under $7 for the 16 ounce jar made my decision to purchase it a no-brainer.
Another thing that I like about the curling creme is that it doesn't leave any residue or clumps in my hair, whether I'm styling on wet or dry hair, my strands seem to soak it right up. I get a lot of definition with this creme more so when styling on dry or lightly damp hair. My hair always feels super soft and manageable when doing twist-outs or braided styles.
I've also use the curling creme to lay down my edges when I want to just wear my hair in a ponytail. I apply the product along my edges, brush it back with a dry brush and slip on an ouchless ponytail holder. For super hold and a "slicker" look, I'll just tie a scarf around my head and I'm good after about 10 minutes.
So far, Eden Body Works' Curling Creme has been pretty good to my hair. I did a thorough purging of all my hair products right before the new year, and I ended up giving away tons of stuff. The curling creme just so happened to be one of my keepers. I would definitely purchase this again, I'm already on my second bottle.
What styling products would you recommend that provide ultimate definition and hydration for natural hair?
