By employing this new platform, they will be able to reduce the overall operational cost, as they will be making records of patient’s outpatient and inpatient and groups.



Similar initiatives are being taken by other companies as well, mainly to increase their services and to expand presence in the market. Some of the key players operating in the global electronic health records market are Athenahealth, Inc., Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc., Cerner Corporation, Epic Systems, CPSI, GE Healthcare, eClinicalWorks, and Greenway Health, LLC.

Leading players are also associating with government organizations as well. For instance, Cerner Corporation and Cerner Government Services Inc. signed an agreement for transitioning service members and their care providers access to a single electronic health record system.
