The GCC’s first commercial vertical farm, Badia Farms, is plating the green shoots of innovation in the regional agri tech sector by growing produce in an environment which requires 90% less water than regular farming, thanks to hydroponic technology. “Dubai was the obvious choice as a hub for us due to its hunger for innovation and strong ecosystem designed so entrepreneurs can thrive.
