DROWNERS Brought the Grunge To Baby’s All Right [Photos]

DROWNERS played to a sold out and glittery Baby’s All Right as a celebration of their new record On Desire. The New York based indie rockers pummeled through a slew of crowd favorites new and old, including “Luv, Hold Me Down,” “Long Hair” and “Cruel Ways,” the latest single from their sophomore effort. Dripping in swagger and Strokes-esque guitar riffs, the new songs harkened back to the DROWNERS’ old summery sound but boasted a notable maturity from the band instrumentally and lyrically. Every new song was met with cheers and applause, and every old one was met with a glorious sing-a-long.
