1106_timdonnelly_update_w200_res72 INLAND EMPIRE – Scott Lay notes Tim Donnelly’s latest campaign initiative in today’s Nooner, a newsletter on California politics and policy. The Republican Assemblyman is quoted in Seema Mehta’s Los Angeles Times article, latimes.com/local as saying: “We need to make California the sexiest place to do business,” Donnelly, who is among the most frequent and inflammatory speakers on the Assembly floor, says in a campaign video released Tuesday. “Because right now the only thing sexy to me in California is my wife.” According to the Sacramento Bee’s David Siders, sacbee.com/2013/11/05, Donnelly has criticized incumbent Jerry Brown for his law enforcement and economic policies, while promising to campaign on a platform of lowering taxes. However, Gov. Brown has yet to announce whether he will seek reelection.
