Don’t Get Stuck In No Man’s Land After You Serve [VIDEO TIP]

By Jen Campbell @TennisLife_Mag

Do you feel vulnerable when you serve? Do you lose your serve more often than you should?

Even though you may have a strong serve, you can't rely on it alone; your footwork and body position are also critical to you winning your serve.

I've seen it time and time again...players will serve, and the forward momentum will pull them into the court a couple of feet inside the baseline. The problem with that is that they just stay there, either waiting for the return flat-footed, or maybe admiring their serve. For whatever reason, they don't get back into position behind the baseline, and instead, find themselves stuck in no man's land playing defensive tennis.

This week's tip is a great drill that you can do with a hitting partner which will help you be more aware of your court position so you won't get caught in no man's land and win more service points!

My goal is to give all of you the tips and tools you need to be the best tennis players you can be (no matter your age!) so if you need help with your game, DON'T BE SHY! Tell me about it in the comments section below and I'll address it in a future video! Also, be sure and share my posts with your tennis friends, and connect with me onand Youtube!
