Do you hear that sound?

You don’t?  That chinging sound? Oh, that’s the sound of cash registrars as today marks the release of the Playstation 4. Sony is launching to make a comeback just like a grizzled seasoned fighter after losing ground to Nintendo for a few years.  The furor for PS4 is at a fever pitch.  One of my friends on my Facebook account posted this:

Can’t sleep. All that is on my mind is PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4 PS4!!!!!

I’m sure many kids will bug their parents for this system for Christmas.  However, being the curious bugger that I am, I was wondering how would PS4 fare in the fitness/exercise game department?

If you look on Amazon and the ratings of PS3 fitness games, the results are not very encouraging:

Abandon hope all ye who enter here! Arrrr!

Abandon hope all ye who enter here! Arrrr!

As you can see only a few games have (barely) a four-star rating.  Personally, I think video game developers are sleeping on the potential for a huge market.  Only time will tell as PS4 starts to pick up traction and becomes the monster that eats up America.  What do you think?  How would you improve the fitness gaming field?
