The Human Centipede II, directed by a Dutch named Tom Six, is an especially depraved pornographic movie about a man who “creates” a human centipede by surgically joining 12 victims, mouth to anus, so that they share a single digestive system.

Considered “torture porn,” the flick was initially banned in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. The British Board of Film Classification states the movie focuses on “the sexual arousal of this character at the idea and later the spectacle of the total degradation, humiliation, mutilation, torture, rape and murder of his naked victims.” The UK lifted the ban only after Six made more than 30 edits.

However, the movie is unrated in the United States.

The movie is the second in Six’s Human Centipede trilogy, which were too much even for liberal movie critics. According to the New York Daily News, the trilogy received “overwhelmingly negative reviews.” But the first Human Centipede movie won several accolades at international film festivals.

Despite all that, Dr. Susan Berry reports for Breitbart that the torture porn flick was shown to a class of students at a public high school in Jackson, Tennessee — the pretentiously-named Jackson Central-Merry Academy of Medical Technology High School.

Verna Ruffin
It was only after a parent of a student reported the incident to The Jackson Sun that school superintendent Verna Ruffin admitted that high school students had viewed part of the film, saying she was unsure how much of the film students saw. Ruffin said, “The matter has been addressed. It’s inappropriate and unacceptable,” but declined to explain why the film was shown to students in the first place or whether the class’s teacher had been disciplined.

Charles Clark, principal of Jackson Central-Merry High School
A letter from the school’s principal, Dr. Charles H. Clark Jr., sent to parents of students in the class said, “I understand that on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, your student may have inadvertently viewed inappropriate content in a JCM classroom. This occurrence is inconsistent with our Mission and Vision at Jackson Central Merry. I have investigated the situation and talked to those involved. Immediate action has been taken to assure that there will be no further occurrences.”

Tom Six
Larding on the fanciful rationalization of combating school bullying, director Tom Six said in a tweet that his film is excellent class material: “It should be mandatory to watch THC2 [The Human Centipede 2] in school classes. It deals with a character that is bullied and what to do!”

On April 30, 2016, Fox8 reported that the unnamed teacher who had shown the Centipede flick to students was “suspended”.
