Danis Tanovic’s ‘Tiger’ Starring Emraan Hashmi Brings The Ugly Truth Of A Multinational Giant

Danis Tanovic, the Bosnian filmmaker whose 2001 film No Man's Land won him the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film directed his first Indian-International film titled 'Tigers'.

Tigers was initially titled White Lies. The film stars popular Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Starring opposite Emraan is Geetanjali Thapa, who plays Emraan's love interest in the film. Danis took over 7 years of research on the topic before making the film. The film is based on the real-life story of a salesman who worked for a Swiss multinational giant, Pakistan. The salesman after discovering that the product he was selling was the reason for the death of many newborn infants fights against the system.

The film is a joint production between Cinemorphic, French production company ASAP Films and Sikhya Entertainment.

Tiger is scheduled to have its digital premiere by releasing on ZEE5 on 21st November, 2018.
