curry leaf oil for hair growth | homemade oil for long & silky hair - an oil which i have been using since my childhood and it never disappointed me till date 🙂 if you are looking for a herbal oil for hair growth, its a best choice to follow.

When compared to other countries, indian herbal oil for hair growt h always comes first. I made this curry leaf oil using hibiscus as it gives shine to hair and fenugreek seeds, which is a super coolant and gives good conditioning for hair. But the major part is the curry leaves I used.

Which oil is best for long and thick hair?

I don't know any specific choice. But i usually try homemade hair oils and it works for me. I will post further hair oil recipes in future posts.

Curry leaf is rich in antioxidants. It gives not only internal health and also helps externally to promote hair growth. The infusion of curry leaves in oil is extremely good for healthy hair growth.

herbal oil preparation for hair growth:

  1. Wash curry leaves and leave it for 1 hour to dry at room temperature.
  2. Grind coarsely in a mixie.
  3. Crush the fenugreek seeds using mortar and pestle.
  4. Heat iron kadai or stainless steel wok, add 1 litre of coconut oil.
  5. Heat in low flame. It takes time but heat in low flame.
  6. Once the oil is slightly heated, add coarse grind curry leaves and let the flame simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Now add hibiscus flower and fenugreek seeds and let them infuse in oil for 5 to 7 minutes.
  8. You can mix the oil in between. Now you can see the oil changed its color.
  9. Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
  10. Once it has cooled, strain the oil using thin cloth and discard the skin.
  11. Store in a glass container. If you feel the oil is very thick, you can use it mixing with plain coconut oil.
  12. You can use this oil daily or apply at least 1 hour before shampooing your hair.
