The owner of the Dallas Cowboys is going to be the keynote speaker at the International Trademark Association (INTA) 135th Annual Meeting which will be held on May 4th-8th, 2013.

This is of course the same Jerry Jones that was apparently willing to only pay $275 for the to protect his Cowboys  trademark by acquiring Cowboys.com which is now a gay dating site.

Mr. Jones Keynote speech will be held on May 6th at 8:45 am

“His contributions and innovations in the areas of marketing, corporate sponsorships, television, stadium management, stadium development, labor negotiations and community service have made a visible imprint on the ever evolving face of professional sports in America.”

“Additionally, Jones’ vision and leadership provided the driving influence behind the concept, design and construction of Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas—a venue that is recognized internationally as perhaps the most spectacular and state-of-the-art sports stadium in the world. The stadium has become a powerful catalyst in attracting a wide range of national and international events.”

Hopefully one of the expected 9,500 attendees will ask Mr. Jones about the failed Cowboys.com purchase and his thoughts on the current use of the site.
