Comparing Bite Beauty's (discontinued) Agave Lip Mask and Agave+ Night Time Lip Therapy

By Makeuppedia @shruthi2588

I really love Bite beauty's recently discontinued agave lip mask. I did buy a couple of back ups right before it got sold out. I also did purchase the all agave 3 piece lip care set last year. This set had minis of agave+ day time lip balmagave+ night time lip therapy and the agave lip mask. I found the lip therapy to perform very similar to the lip mask and here is my comparison of the two.

Here is a bit of background on the discontinued agave lip mask.
I love lanolin for chapped lips or even cuts on my skin. And I love agave lip mask, as the first ingredient in it is lanolin. I love the thick layer it forms on my lips. No matter how chapped my lips get, this mask takes care of it. I usually apply it at night and find my lips significantly healed and smooth the following morning. I also like the smell and taste of it.
I have the tinted lip mask in the shade smashed, for day time. So, now that I have established my relationship with the agave lip mask, lets move on to the new agave+ night time lip therapy.

Honestly, I was skeptical of its healing capacity, because of the lack of lanolin in it. But, I started using this little tub, mostly at night, and spoiler alert - I love it!
This is also thick and has a consistency very similar to the mask. It spreads well, smells and tastes really nice. And I was most surprised of its effects on my lips. It performed very similar to the lip mask that I could not see any difference in the way it healed my chapped lips. I apply it before going to bed and wake up with smoother/healed lips! And, I like the smell of this pot a little more than the lip mask. I cant believe I am saying this!

I don't know how bite does it, but I think after finishing my agave lip mask back ups, I will be happy to switch to the agave+ night time lip therapy.

I am relieved and no longer panicking about the exclusion of lanolin in the new products!
