.Club which just went into general availability today had over 25,000 registrations in less than its 1st full day,  according to the zone files that were just updated

Ntldstats.com, is reporting 25,776 .Club domain names in the Zone file placing it as the 6th top new gTLD’s in terms of domain names in the root zone  files.

Colin Campbell told TheDomains.com earlier today that the registry did not register any domains itself and all but 46 domains which the registry activated for its own use were registered by third parties.  Colin also told us that .Club would be well into the top 10 in terms of new gTLD domain name registrations today which turned out to be bang on.

.Club domain registrations pushed the total amount of new gTLD domains in the zone files over 711,000.

.Guru still leads all new gTLD’s topping the 55,000 mark at 55,355 domains.

.Berlin is now over 47,000 registrations.

.Photography is closing in on 35K registrations and the IDN Chinese Online topped 30,000 registrations.

On the registrar side Godaddy.com has just under 25% of the new gTLD market with Enom, 1and1.com United-Domains and Hexonet shooting way up to become the number 5 registrar for new gTLD domains.  The top 5 new gTLD registrar account for more than 50% of all new gTLD registrations.
