Cleaning Clorox Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner

This product has many uses, namely deodorizing, sanitizing, and disinfecting. Each of these can be done in three steps or less.

Prepping to Use

Before you begin to use your Clorox Automatic Bowl Cleaner, you can prep your toilet. This step is optional.

Prepare your toilet by cleaning it with any all-purpose cleaner. Briefly spray the toilet to remove any easy-to-lift debris. Flush.

Sanitizing with Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner

To sanitize your toilet, apply six ounces of Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner around the rim. The liquid will run down and coat the entire toilet bowl.

Allow the cleaner to sit for five minutes, then flush it away.

Disinfecting with Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Disinfecting requires as much effort as sanitizing but takes a bit longer.

To disinfect your toilet, apply six ounces of Clorox Bowl Cleaner around the rim. After the liquid has ran down and has coated the entire toilet bowl, allow it to work its magic for 10 minutes before flushing it down the toilet.

Deodorizing with Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner

If you flush your toilet daily, you should clean it daily with deodorizing tablets. Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner Bleach and Blue are deodorizing tablets for your toilet bowl. Available in the scent Rain Clean, these tablets will freshen both your toilet and your bathroom for up to four months!

To use these tablets, thoroughly clean the toilet bowl and the rim. Flush the toilet. When the water level in the tank is low, drop a tablet into the tank near the side wall and away from the water valve opening. Do not directly touch the tablet. When one tablet has dissolved, replaced it with another. As the name implies, the tablets will make your toilet water a nice, blue hue.

Adding a Little Something Extra

Although the Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner is powerful enough to whisk away stains, you can add to that power by using a bit of elbow grease.

After the liquid has completely coated the toilet bowl, take a toilet brush, and gently scrub. Remember to let the cleaner remain in the toilet for the allotted amount of time and not to immediately flush after you have finished scrubbing.

This is truly one product that makes tidying the toilet and removing stains a breeze. Its instructions are easy to follow, and its benefits, long lasting. A few minutes alone with Clorox Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner, and stains will seem to vanish before your eyes.
