City Council Gives Green Light to Build Luxury Apartments at 5Pointz Site in Long Island City

It’s a clean slate for Long Island City’s famed graffiti mecca.
The City Council unanimously approved plans to build luxury apartments at the site of the 5Pointz Aerosol Art Museum. The vote came after the developers agreed to further concessions for the neighborhood.
