Happy Friday Friends! Hope your week has been wonderful! Today, the Chic Gals are styling a gorgeous LAGOS jewelry. We have kept this project under wraps since February so it's SO EXCITING to finally share it with y'all!

We're partnering with Neiman Marcus and LAGOS Jewelry for Mother's Day! It's such a privilege to be collaborating with two amazing brands for a special holiday. It's a perfect partnership since both Neiman Marcus and LAGOS focus on impeccable quality and beautiful style.

I LOVE the vision of the LAGOS woman! She is strong, smart and values integrity above all else. She knows who she is and who she wants to be. It was amazing to be standing with my beautiful friends Cathy, Heather, and Natalie wearing these gorgeous pieces since I feel like we embody that woman! We are bloggers, wives, daughters, and mothers.

Ask me what it means to be a mother now, and it's so different than my answer five years ago. As a first time mother, I was naive to many things. I was concerned about keeping my baby alive and surviving the wake-feed-sleep cycle on a daily basis.

Fast forward to today with my oldest being five and my youngest being a two-year-old toddler. My eyes are wide open as my son and daughter are moving and growing! Keeping them alive is one thing, but raising them to be happy, caring, healthy, self-confident, and independent individuals is another thing.

And raising my daughter to be confident, courageous, and knows exactly who she is what I strive for daily. They learn a lot by watching so I have to model these behaviors. It's not always easy, but I have fabulous examples in my life.

As a woman in this very busy world, I'm lucky to have a mother and MIL who are wonderful role models of what it is to be unconditionally loving. I'm grateful to my lifelong best friends (Mush, EABC, and Shell) for parenting with grace and sharing all the advice since they're ahead in the kid games. Sometimes, it's good to be late! Haha!

I'm so thankful for Cathy, Heather, and Natalie who have been there, done that, or are doing that. Cathy and Heather have calming words and Natalie can relate. They have seen me at my best and worst and always uplift and empower me when we meet. I feel blessed to have the gals as true friends (and not just blogger friends).

So, what piece of jewelry is my absolute favorite... the beautiful North Star Ring. It's made of silver, gold, and diamonds so it goes with EVERYTHING. The ring is the definition of mixing metals (and stones)! I wear it EVERY DAY with intention. Since I wear it on my middle finger, I see ALL THE TIME so it's front and center!! It's a wonderful reminder to CHOOSE LOVE and choose the right thing when I'm with the Littles since it's a precious gift to be a mother. Not to sound cheesy, but it's like a North Star!

I've ALWAYS loved jewelry, whether it was giving or receiving. As a mother, it's taken on a whole new meaning since I have truly memorable pieces. They are special because of the occasion on which it was received or what it symbolizes to me. If you are looking for a perfect Mother's Day gift, then I would highly recommend getting a LAGOS jewelry piece (or gift yourself)!

While I was shopping for my mom, I found some pieces for myself too like this mother-of-pearl Maya ring and these caviar and pearl wire earrings! Oops, I guess Two for Me, One for You! LOL! In all seriousness, they have some GORGEOUS pieces online!

You can shop the LAGOS collection here! I have the layered necklaces with the Diamond Stick necklace ane 6-station Lapis necklace. The blue Lapis Maya ring is my favorite because it's so striking! And I've got an arm party with the two diamond bracelets - Rope bracelet with Diamonds and Caviar Spark Diamond Bracelet!

What's your favorite jewelry piece, and what does it mean to you?

Happy Friday Glam Fam! I always love the weekend. We have some family friends coming into town and celebrating on Saturday. Then, I'm headed to California on Sunday for a super fun CABI event. When I get back, it's time to head back to work! It's a bit of a crazy schedule, but I'm very excited to do this and love that I even have the opportunity. What are you up to this weekend?
