For months, I have been talking (with the people in my circle) about shaving the side of my head- aka The Half Hawk. It's a hair trend that is seeming to not want to go away and I'm totally ok with that. Not everyone around me was onboard with the idea of the hair shaving but obviously, that wasn't going to stop me. The last time I saw my hairstylist (back in June), we talked about it and she thought it was a great idea. I on the other hand, needed to process it. So this past June, I walked away with a simple layered cut.
Cut to this past Friday.......................................
This time around, I was ready! I prepped everyone in my life for it and even though they still weren't on team "shaved head". I did it! I can't tell you how happy I am about it. If I went on with my life and didn't shave the side of my head, I would have eventually been a 70 year old walking around with a half hawk. When I have something on my mind, it has to be executed! It's the way of my life. At least my life.
