Chalk Up Another Victim of the Boston Media

By Theomnipotentq @TheMightyQuinn
So, Carl Crawford thinks it's all the media's fault that he played like total crap in his short time in Boston.
"Burying people in the media, they think that makes a person play better. That media was the worst thing I've ever experienced in my life."
I'm no fan of the Boston media, either. But it was a bad fit from the start, and the Sox should have known better than throw $20 million a year at this guy. But they had to "feed the monster." You take the big money, big things are expected of you. Crawford should have known that, and taken lesser money in a less pressured environment.
Whatever. That August 27th trade with the Dodgers last year is looking better with each passing day.
