There was an auction called “Time to Give” where celebrities from all parts of the world join together for a watch auction. In2010, this auction created a large amount of interest with so many celebrities lending their signatures. Christie’s handled the auction and featured some very high profile stars. Various celebrities have drummed up interest in the cause which benefits Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights Aids. This organization has been steadily receiving more attention through the cooperation and ingenuity of watchmaker Audemars Piguet.
Celebrities provided their signatures to one luxury watch in order to get the highest price possible from those invited to a private auction.

For the watch auction to see a tremendous boost from supporters in the Arts speaks volumes for all who participate. Hugh Jackman is among a large group of celebrities who are known to have submitted their signatures for increasing the proceeds directed at Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids.
Kelsey Grammer, Merryl Streep, Catherine Zeta Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, and the rapper Jay Z all are part of a much larger group showing tremendous support and generosity for the auction. These stars and many more are likely to be continuing supporters in the coming years.
