The Royal Horseguards is delighted to announce their collaboration with Chef, Food Writer and TV personality John Whaite in launching…A Right Royal Afternoon Tea. In celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday, the award winning, 5 star hotel The Royal Horseguards will launch John Whaite’s specially designed afternoon tea from 1 st May 2016.

As well as the traditional finger sandwiches, warm freshly baked fruit and plain scones, homemade fruit preserve and Cornish clotted cream, John has created a range of pastries and cakes, taking inspiration from the flavours of the Commonwealth

From Hazelnut & Maple Chocolate Tarts and Raspberry & Rose Crumble Choux Buns to Lemon Macarons, Victoria Sponge Triangles and Yuzu & Coconut Blondies, these wonderfully individual and exciting handmade cakes and pastries are a result of John’s baking ingenuity.
