Born Pretty Smudge-free Lip Gloss Long Lasting Lipstick Review & Swatches

Hi everyone,Do you remember my last Born Pretty Store haul I did a few days ago?? I did a collective post mentioning the latest make up items I bought from them. Today I shall be reviewing  Born Pretty Smudge-free Lip Gloss Long Lasting Lipsticks in Shade no. 01 and 03. Liquid lipsticks have taken the beauty world by storm, every brand has been coming up with them. The price range,texture, longevity varies from one brand to another. I have always been a fan of Born Pretty Store make up, beauty and jewelry items and hence when I saw these I thought of picking them up. I have been using them for a while and I will tell you my experience today about the same....


Price: US $1.99 each They come in 8 variantsAbout Bornprettystore:The store  is based in Hong Kong does sell a variety of goodies from make up, make up tools, jewellery, Nail art stuff, Watches etc. I have reviewed a lot of their fashion jewelry but they also do have make up, make up brushes and other tools which I have been exploring lately.



Packaging:They come in long and slender plastic transparent tubes with a black cap. They have a doe foot applicator which makes application a piece of cake.It does come with an expiration date however there is no ingredients anywhere.. Hmmm Most chinese brands and brands otherwise don't mention them too from what I have seen and experiencedShade no.01: It is a beautiful blue based red and will suit all skin tones in my opinion. It is a perfect red for me as it brightens my skin tone.Shade no.03: It is an out and out purple color.I was looking for a shade like this since forever. Thanks to the swatches mentioned on the site it was easy for me to choose. This color is a personal choice in my opinion. I am able to pull this off and I feel it will suit fair to medium skin tones.



My experience using them:Both the shades are easy to apply and go glossy on the lips. The red one was good but I found the purple a bit patchy hence I layered it and it seemed ok. At first you might feel your lips sticking together but once it sets it dries into a matte finish which I loved. It lasts for 3 hours and after meal it fades from the center which does not look good and one may have to retouch it for sure. There is no shimmer and no bad smell to the product. For $1.99 it is decent and worth trying in my opinion.
