Book Review: Once Upon An IAS Exam

I got a review copy from the author and it took me just one sitting to finish it because of the book-length and the fast pace. I loved the book cover which completely relates to the story with a guy and a girl and of course a lot of books, and not to forget that IAS coaching flex posted at the street wall.

The book is about Vishy and his friend circle who are trying to pass the IAS exam which is one of the toughest exams in India. His worst nightmare of failing at the test that gets real and his marriage proposal to Rithika go parallel. But will she accept his proposal and would he be able to go through the IAS exam? (Well, read the book to know more about that.)

There is a lot of humor and the language is pretty simple. The narration is good, but the writing could have been better and I wish it had more depth to it. Other than that, the plot is quite interesting and engaging. Anyone would enjoy reading this book to the end especially the students and teenagers. The touch of romance is like a cherry on top.

So, I highly recommend this book if you prefer reading books that are not much complex and simple to read. Overall, it has been an okay read for me. I have more expectations from the author when it comes to the detailing and length of the book. I would like to explore more books by the author in the future.
