This 777 has almost completed its 12 hour journey from Zurich to San Francisco. Swiss has transitioned to these efficient twin-engined aircraft for their long distance routes, replacing the Airbus A340. Subsidiary Swiss Global Air Lines currently operates ten of these aircraft with two more on order.  The Swiss Cross has been used on the tails of Swiss Airlines aircraft since the early 1930’s. The most common and successful variant of the Boeing 777 is the 777-300ER with 784 delivered and 45 orders.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
