Wedding Photography Retrospective 2014

2014. What a year! It’s seen me meet and capture some truly special moments for some fantastic couples! I’ve had the pleasure of attending some of Norfolk’s grandest wedding venues such as Narborough Hall Gardens and Wolterton Hall, the luxury barn conversion at Chaucer Barn and a newly refurbished Norfolk Mead. New venue, the Boathouse, became a firm favorite after providing the opportunity to take a boat out on the Norfolk Broads for some sunset portraits! It was also a pleasure to make a return trip to the Ashes in Staffordshire and I had the privilege of taking part in some beautiful church and garden ceremonies too!

As well as getting to meet some truly wonderful couples, I’ve also been fortunate to make friends and network with some incredible photographers at home and abroad and can’t wait to collaborate with them in 2015.

2014 also saw my wedding photography featured on some great UK wedding blogs, in particular Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and the English Wedding Blog. A huge thanks to them for supporting me!

Plans for 2015 include a working holiday to Barcelona and since I’ve been flat out this year and didn’t put the time aside, there’ll be a holiday with my gorgeous girls!

To all of the couples who have chosen me to capture their wedding, a heartfelt THANK YOU – you’ve made it the most amazing year! Thanks also to my family and friends for their love, support and patience.

It’s been pretty much impossible for me to pick my favorite images for this year and so, after going round and round, I enlisted some help from my wife and then from my 3-year-old daughter! My little girl has something of an obsession with turning all of my images to black and white though, so I have been back through it and made some amendments!  So, here, at last, are some of the highlights of my photography year – enjoy!
