It’s Spring! Well, kinda at least. Here in London we had a fab weekend – the sun was shining and the temperatures hiked close to +20 degrees Celsius. Everybody was outside – some even opened the BBQ Season (I did not dare yet). The parks were full of people with picnics or just lazily strolling around and feeling fa-bu-lous! Patios at restaurants and cafes were literally overflowing. I actually managed to get a table for Sunday lunch on the sunny patio of my local gastropub!
Unfortunately the warm weather did not last, but that feeling that Spring is almost here and soon you can happily leave your coat at home made all the difference in my mood. I want to get myself ready for Spring! Get some pastel infused shirts; maybe a pair of glittery golden ballerinas and some statement jewelry that screams ‘Spring colours are here’.
In ‘Springifying’ my make-up I am already one step ahead of my wardrobe revamping. A while ago I found this fabulous shimmering pastel eye shadow collection from Estee Lauder and just had to get it. Doesn’t it look like it would be made for a sunny Spring day when you would be cycling down a street covered in pink and white cherry blossoms wearing a light blue polka-dotted dress beautifully flowing in the gentle and warm Spring air.
