The newest video release from Bear’s Den is filled with desperation that clings to hopefulness. Set against a beautiful ocean backdrop, the band members slowly sink into the sand as they sing their words. They made a point to match the feeling in the video to their lyrics of their track, ‘Agape.’ A song that that mourns with you as you try to get out of the black-hole that are your thoughts. Aesthetically, it’s not a sad and somber song – it has somewhat of a quick tempo and synths that add musical ambiance. The track is off their last album, Islands, and was released in 2014.
