Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is filming in Michigan and there have been some new pictures leaked that potentially reveal a major spoiler. I hear no cry if you read beyond this point. You’ve been warned.
The photos below show both Gotham and Metropolis news vans and a group of citizens and emergency responders gathering around a destroyed statue. We’ve already seen that they are building a large Superman statue and you can clearly see feet that look around the same scale in one of the photos. That in itself isn’t spoilery, but the fact that they seem to be laying flowers around the base of the destroyed statue would indicate that they might be mourning. Does Superman…gasp…die?
There have been an increasing number of rumors that say that Doomsday coming might be the big event that brings about the creation of the Justice League. If so, then we might actually see some form of Superman’s death.
