Rainbow Riches Pick 'n' Mix is a Irish themed slot developed by Barcrest. A 5 Reels slot action packed with 20 paylines and bets starting from 0.2 to 500 coins with a Jackpot of 2000 coins.
Rainbow Riches Pick 'n' Mix is Barcrest slot game based on the original ever popular Rainbow Riches, you have the same great game place with some nice additions. Firstly you have both the Pots of Gold and Road to Riches Feature, however they have been joined by 3 new ones. Free Spins, Cash Crop and Magic Toadstool.
You can also choose - "Pick n Mix" if you will which features you would like to have available during your game play from 1 to 3 bouses. In the same way as Rainbow Riches you activate the bonus by hitting 3 matching scatter symbols to start the feature.
Another nice addition is the Big Bet feature, this is the same as can be found on Monopoly Big Event another favourite of mine from Barcrest. The Big Bet give you the opportunity to select a dial correspending to each of the bonuses you have selected to play within the main game. A segment of the dial is rainbow coloured which can be increased in size depending on the size of you Big Bet stake.
The Big Bet costs from £10 to £25 which if you are feeling lucky can pay off. I've hit the £300 Jackpot a few times on the Pots of Gold bonus. Once you have selected your stake click the dial, the arrow will spin and should it land in the Rainbow segment of the dial you are a winner. You are then taken to the respective bonus round to play for your prize.
The combination of original Rainbow Riches game play, with the option of choosing your bonuses and the added teaser of the Big Bet I'm sure you will have lots of fun playing Rainbow Riches Pick 'n' Mix. I have so far myself :)
Road to Riches Bonus
The Road to Riches Bonus is triggered by 3 or 4 Road to Riches Scatter Symbols across the 5 reels. If you have 3 Symbols you will enter the standard Road to Riches Bonus. If you are lucky to hit 4 Scatter Symbols you will enter the Super Road to Riches bonus which awards increased multiplers as you advance on the Road to Riches.
The bonus starts when you select the spin button to spin the Step Wheel, as with the original you journey along the road to riches until you hit collect on the step wheel or you reach the end of the road and collect the top prize.
Pots of Gold Bonus
The Pots of Gold Bonus is triggered by 3 or 4 Pots of Gold Scatter Symbols across the 5 reels. If you have 3 Symbols you will enter the standard Pots of Gold Bonus. If you are lucky to hit 4 Scatter Symbols you will enter the Super Pots of Gold which awards only Silver or Gold Pots
In the same method as in Rainbow Riches the bonus start with Gold, Silver, and Bronze pots spinning around the screen. When they come to a stop and an arrow points to the winning pot. the winning pot multiplies the stake by the winning multiplier amount.
Free Spins Bonus
Their are a number of ways to activate tje Free Spins Bonus first 3 Scattered Free Spins symbols awards 10 Free Spins, or 4 Symbols and you receive 20 Free Spins, finally 5 Scattered Symbols and you receive the maximum of 30 Free Spins.
You can also activate the Free Spins bonus with Free Spin Scatter symbols on Reels 1, 3 and 5. What is nice is the face you can retrigger Free spins while in the bonus so watch out for that and more free spins!
During the Free Spin Bonus both the Wild Scatter and the Free Spin Scatter act as a Wild Symbol. You also are playing with an alternative set of reels than used in standard game play
Finally you cannot trigger any other Bonuses during the Free spins award, so don't expect to hit the Road to Riches or Pots of Goal while playing your Free Spin Bonus.
Cash Crop Bonus
The Cash Crop Bonus is one of the new bonus rounds added to Rainbow Riches Pick 'n' Mix. You start the bonus with 50 coins displayed on the screen all of which are spinning. Each coin can land on either a blank or a multiplier. Once all tje coins have stopped spinning, the remaining multipliers fade out one at a time and add their prize amount (multiplier times stake) to your win meter.
You play upto 3 Levels of Cash Crop, after the end of the level a large coin with two sides with either, "Go On" and "Collect", appears in the middle of the screen. if the coin lands on "Collect", the amount shown in the win meter is awarded and the bonus ends. If the coin lands on "Go On", you will advance to Level 2 and another 50 coins are shown with a 2x multiplier.
Again play continues with either a "Collect" or "Go On" at the end of Level 2, with a chance to continue on to the 3rd and Final Level with even higher multipliers this time either 5x or 10x. After Level 3, the Bonus ends and the amount shown in the win meter is your prize.
Magic Toadstool Bonus
This is the remaining new Bonus feature, this time you are offered to pick 3 Toadstools from a field full of 24. Each Toadstool uncover a multiplier or a Fairy. The multiplier uses the stake amount used when triggering the bonus to award a cash prize. All Cash prizes are cumulative.
A Fairy will reveal 3 additional mushrooms for additional Cash prizes and Fairies, as well as a Multiplier where that fairy was initially found. The bonus ends when no more picks remain or no Toadstools are left. If there are picks left but no Toadstools remain, a Final multiplier is awarded that multiplies the amount shown in the win meter.
Extra picks are awarded if after their last selection has been made with Toadstools still remain and you haven't reached the Minimum Win Threshold, so you are guaranteed a nice prize with this feature.
The Thresholds are x8 Times your Stake for the standard bonus. For the Super Magic Toadstool Bonus the Minimum win threshold is x50 times your stake. The Super Magic Toadstool Bonus is activated with 4 Magic Toadstool Scatter Symbols, as with the other bonuses 3 Scatter Symbols awards the standard bonus.
