Barcelona football club could shock us next season and wear the colours of the Catalan flag La Senyera on its football strip.
This will be the first time in all Barca’s history that it has adopted the famous colours of la Senyera. I don’t know if this is true but it the news comes on the day of la Diada or National Day of Catalonia.
Barca would not be the first club to adopt its “community” colours though as Malaga, Valencia and Levante have all chosen at some point to proudly display these nationalistic symbols on their football shirts.
We may have to wait until the end of the season for the outcome as this is when the team usually unveils its strip for the following season.
