So if you haven't heard it already, let me say it now... HAPPY Fashion Week! Ah, fashion week. The week where everything fashion and beauty turns into organized chaos. You scramble to find the perfect outfit, you skip meals AND you run around like a crazy person from show to event to the next show. That would be the case for most people in the fashion/beauty industry. I am lucky enough to not have a crazy hectic schedule. I mean, I had a few events to attend yesterday AND I was so exhausted (not a complaint).
Moving on..........
I have a simple technique when it comes to picking out what I want to wear. Since Fashion Week involves A LOT of walking, I choose comfort. I know what you are thinking, who in their right mind chooses comfort? Well, this girl right here! I am not very friendly when I'm in pain, so I rather be perky Suma than "please stop talking to me because I want to throw my shoes out the window" Suma. Makes sense? Right?
I always lean towards the punk chic look, so I went for a very simple look which involved my boyfriends socks. I pulled inspiration from a few celebs like Kim K and Miley Cyrus. I will also include my bangs as an accessory because without them, my look would not be complete!
It's definitely ok to be inspired by something but how you style it, is what makes the difference!
