It's Remembrance Sunday this weekend, and to mark the occasion this week The Daily Constitutional will present a London war memorial every day. Some of them will be well-known sights to all Londoners, others more obscure.

Royal Marines Memorial
Originally placed in 1903 to commemorate Royal Marines who had fallen in the Boxer Rebellion, this monument was rededicated in the year 2000 as a national memorial for all Royal Marines. At the rededication it was unveiled by the Duke of Edinburgh.
The monument is at the eastern end on The Mall, near Trafalgar Square.
