AskawayFriday Questions About The Man Behind my Blog with April from 100lb Countdown

  1. How long did you date your spouse? Did you actually go on dates? If so, how many?

I met my husband in October of 2007 and shortly after we started dating. We usually went on dates either with our without my kids. We also spent a lot of time watching movies at home too. We got married after dating for 8 months. We just celebrated our 6 year anniversary this summer.

  1. What meal does your husband make do you no longer love?

He doesn’t’ very often but I love all the meals that he makes for us, even his test version of Chicken Scampi that didn’t quite come out right.

  1. What do you think of couples’ therapy?

I did learn walk away from my first marriage with a bit of wisdom. I feel that I probably got married at a very young age. Shortly after we got married, I had my daughter several months later. She was a blessing but the stress of being young and being a parent took its toll on the relationship.

  1. What’s the number you’re not sharing? What are you keeping secret, whether it be spending, collections, debt, etc.?

I don’t like to keeping secrets from my husband. I do occasionally forget to tell him something and its not because I am trying to hide something I just forget to mention it.
