Appreciate the sights and sounds of daily life.

Take a few moments today and every day to enjoy the sights and sounds around you – to sit and listen.  You might even want to close your eyes and just listen.  It’s amazing the things you will hear when you truly just listen.  Sometimes I’ll sit outside and people watch, or I’ll go out early in the morning when everyone’s busy day hasn’t started yet and enjoy a quiet morning… whether it’s seeing little bunnies hopping around, or a mother deer and her babies it’s very, very peaceful.

Take a walk or drive to a park and spend a bit of time looking up, down, and all around absorbing the beauty of nature. Even if you’re in the city, take time to appreciate the sights, sounds, and architecture.  Sit at a bus stop and take it all in.  Let all of it fill your senses.  Appreciate how everything came to be whether natural or man-made.  Think about how it all came together – to be here now – for you to enjoy.
