Andrea and Rich grew up in the same Massachusetts hometown, yet their paths had never overlapped due to a 4 year age difference.  Then one night during a weekend home from college, Andrea ran into Rich at a bar and they’ve been attached at the hip ever since.  Seven years later, Andrea went on a ski trip with Rich’s family and while on one of Rich’s favorite winding ski runs, Rich proposed amongst with the beautiful white backdrop.

“I was amazed that he was actually able to surprise me,” Andrea said. “I was one of those girls that had been trying to figure out when he was going to propose for the past few months. Until I skiied down the trail and turned a corner to see him standing in his skis with his gloves off, I was totally oblivious!”

Just like how the ski trails can bring unexpected surprises, for Andrea & Rich’s wedding day, there was a little postponing involved.  They were originally supposed to be married back in May of this year, but due to some health complications that happened just weeks before the wedding, they knew it would be less stressful to postpone things to the fall.  But as everything works out as it should, they found out their original day was covered in dark clouds and rainstorms vs. their new day, it was nothing but sunshine.  For this New York couple, their love story proves everything happens for a reason, and they’ve already conquered the part of their vows, “through sickness and health.”

Here’s our favorite shots from their gorgeous day!
