The films that True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård’s did during the show’s hiatus are getting some attention.
First off, his film “The East” which premiered recently at Sundance, will also to be shown at the SXSW film festival. It was announced late today that it will be close SXSW on Saturday, March 16.
His other film, “What Maisie Knew” is coming to theaters this spring. After doing a brief festival run last year that included stops in Toronto and Tokyo, the film did well enough to open in May 2013 via Millenium Entertainment. Below is the official poster for the film:
