Alan Ball’s new drama has finally received a premiere date according to Deadline Hollywood. Banshee is set to premiere January 11, 2013 at 10PM.
The series stars actor Anthony Starr and it originally developed at HBO before moving to sister network Cinemax. It is described as being about:
“[An] ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pa., where he continues his criminal activities.”
