Afternoon Tea at Creams

Creams in Huddersfield
Yesterday I went to Huddersfield for afternoon tea at Creams. My lovely friend Maria invited me to come and also to give me a lift there, so of course I could not decline such a great offer. I've never been to Creams before, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised about this gorgeous little café in the middle of Huddersfield. I had the classic British afternoon tea, and Maria had the Eastern afternoon tea, which had a naan bread sandwich (aka naanwich) instead of the traditionally triangular sandwiches.

Creams British Luxury also does take away and wedding cakes and all sorts of gorgeous bakes goods for order as well. The interior of the store was beautiful as well. I especially liked the piano and the purple velvet baroque style chairs. Purple and gold in combination always create a luxurious impression, as did the massive chandeliers that decorated the ceiling in Creams.

I had a lovely day out and can really recommend a visit to Creams if you are around the Huddersfield area. It might not be as high quality as when I went to Betty's in Harrogate that you can read about here, but it's definitely got all you need for a luxurious afternoon tea.
