After a Positive Covid-19 Test, Marco Verratti Will Miss PSG’s Match Against Bayern Munich

Marco Verratti, an Italy midfielder, will miss PSG’s-Champions  League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich after testing positive for Covid-19 on Friday, according to the French champions.

PSG wrote on Twitter, “He will separate and is being submitted to the required health protocol.”

A positive screen for the novel coronavirus or Covid-19 symptoms in France results in a 10-day mandatory quarantine.

PSG will face Bayern Munich on Wednesday, four days after meeting Lille in a Ligue 1 match in which Verratti has already been ruled out

since contracting a thigh injury while on international duty recently.
