Adam Ant, Friend or Foe. When the email came in saying that Adam Ant was heading out on tour and playing the Friend or Foe album in its entirety, teenaged me squealed. He'll be playing in Toronto on Sunday, September 15th at the Danforth Music Hall.
I still have vivid memories of my first Adam Ant concert, and this was the album he was promoting when he came through town. It was also my first Massey Hall show, and for those of you who've been to a show there, you know it's perfection for sound and visibility. I left that show feeling like I was a part of something bigger. Not to be cliche but an army. An ant army to be more specific.
I'm excited to see one of my all-time favourite albums played live! Also, I had a mad crush on this artist, will it still be in place. We'll see! This is the album that started everything.
